Branding in the catering industry & getting it right
Living in Cornwall & being a graphic designer, you find yourself working with clients within the catering industry ALLOT, with such a seasonal working industry in good old Kernow I guess it's always going to be that way. I guess I just wanted to put this blog together to pay respect to all the people that have got branding in this avenue so right over the years as its something that I have learnt to appreciate through doing it myself, don't worry I'm not going to feature myself in this either...
First up we have KrisKros designed by Noor Aghar, offering multinational dining serving up tastes of Asia, America & the Mediterranean. Using geometric shapes to deliver a fun playful look.
Second, we have Trout & Stout Restaurant Branding designed by Kelly lender. Using a very natural colour pallet and clean logo mark it portrays a very elegant fish restaurant.
we have my personal favourite on the list, The Dog House Restaurant designed by Lauren Prueter, using a variation of amazing typefaces and solid black fills this old-school feel really grabs your eye with a comferting feel.
Now with PIKNIK restaurant branding designed by Studio Polkadot. Pasta restaurant that grabs onto its routes at the same time as portraying a modern feel, personally i love it...
Last but not least we have the Fatted Calf branding designed by Victoria Herrera. Branding that fits its purpose so well is this one, the simple colours and old style packaging with a minimalistic style states itself as a one-stop trustworthy deli.
I hope you have enjoyed these beautiful examples of branding in the catering industry, I'm sure you agree that when its done right it can be truly beneficial to elevating your company above the fierce competition in the beautiful county of Cornwall .
